This is a Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch Incident Report for 3 March 2024, filed by Denver Air Route Traffic Control Center (ZDV) and now closed. The crew of BOX473, a commercial Boeing 777 cargo flight from Los Angeles to Frankfurt, reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon at their 12 to 1 o'clock position. They were northeast bound at FL350, 49 nautical miles west of BFF. They saw two or three bright white lights, possibly more, moving up, down, left and right. ATC radar did not show the phenomenon.
This is a Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report dated March 16, 2024, and filed by the Houston facility (ZHU). It records that several aircraft near the JCT VOR reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon at 36,000 feet that they believed was some type of rocket. The bright, smoking object moved west to east, passed from below to above, and then seemed to break up or disappear. ATC radar did not observe it. NORAD was notified and the report is closed.

The object seemed stationary at 4,000 feet, was estimated at 50 feet long and boomerang shaped, and did not appear on radar. It stayed for about 50 minutes before disappearing into clouds, with no impact on operations.

It describes an event on June 15, 2024, when United Airlines flight UAL1835, an A319 flying from Denver to Knoxville, reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon below the aircraft. The crew was southbound at 11,000 feet, 10 nautical miles south of Denver. They described a red and blue object 3 to 4 feet in diameter at about 10,000 feet. The FAA Central ROC relayed a concerned citizen's account of something green, about the size of a car, falling from the sky near Merrill, Iowa, at 5:45 a.m. local time. The report was passed to the Plymouth County Sheriff, whose department said a known green meteor had crossed the sky at the time reported.
