Anomaly Watch is an entertainment website. It collects stories of unidentified aerial phenomena and retells them the way the witnesses described them. The stories are presented for enjoyment and curiosity, not as verified fact, scientific findings, news reporting, or advice of any kind. Nothing on the site should be relied on for any decision.
Much of what you see and hear here is generated by artificial intelligence and then reviewed by a person:
The site gives witnesses the benefit of the doubt: their account comes first, and sceptical explanations or official conclusions follow. A reputability score summarises how well documented a story is; it is a simple, published heuristic, not a judgement of anyone's honesty. Every story lists the sources it was compiled from. If something is wrong, use the "Comment or correction" form on the story page.
If you sign in and post a comment or send a correction, you keep ownership of what you write and give Anomaly Watch a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to show it on the site. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, or that you do not have the right to share, and do not post personal information about private individuals. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.
Real photographs, videos and documents are shown with the credit and licence information we found, and videos are embedded from or linked to their original hosts. If you hold rights to material shown here and want it credited differently or removed, contact us through the correction form on the relevant story.
The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anomaly Watch and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything in it.
These terms may change as the site grows. The date at the top tells you when they were last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
