This is a Federal Aviation Administration unidentified aerial phenomenon report, released by the Department of Transportation and dated 3 June 2024. Stewart facility (SWF) watched a UAP about 4 NM southwest of the field beginning around 1800. The object seemed stationary at 4,000 feet, was estimated at 50 feet long and boomerang shaped, and did not appear on radar. It stayed for about 50 minutes before disappearing into clouds, with no impact on operations.
