This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report is a 2023 release item describing a closed report from May 16, 2024 at Palm Springs (PSP). A general aviation SR20, callsign N972PA, was northwest bound at 3,700 feet, 7 NM southeast of PSP. The crew reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon, described as a manned jet pack traveling north at about 3,500 feet. The object did not appear on ATC facility radar.
