An Air Force base in Ohio, called Wright Field in the earliest records. It kept turning up in the paperwork of the early sightings. In 1949 a Wright Field memo put the radioactivity reported after the Gorman Dogfight down to cosmic rays. July 1952. Ruppelt of Project Blue Book had the Mariana film reanalysed there, and the analysts drew a blank. That same year Newhouse's Tremonton footage went to the base's photo lab. The analysts were reasonably certain the images were brighter than any bird. Legend reached the base too. In 1974 Robert Spencer Carr claimed the Aztec bodies were kept at Wright-Patterson.
