An author, and a believer in UFOs. His name surfaces again and again in the early cases. In 1955 he brought the Kinross Incident into UFO literature with The Flying Saucer Conspiracy. In his telling, the merged blip also left the scope. In the Gorman Dogfight he disputed the balloon explanation, saying it had moved in a different direction. After the Mantell UFO Incident he rejected the wilder rumours. Even so, he promoted the idea that a saucer shot Mantell down. He was also sceptical when it counted. He called the Aztec crash story absurd, and in 1953 he suggested an owl for the Flatwoods Monster.
