Jeff Meldrum

Person 3 stories, 1951 to 2000

Jeff Meldrum is an Idaho State University researcher. He weighed in on some of the best-known footprint and cast evidence in the archive. He looked at the 1951 Menlung Glacier yeti prints photographed by Shipton and Ward and saw an enlarged second toe consistent with macrodactyly. On the 1958 Bluff Creek tracks found by Jerry Crew, he argued that the wooden feet revealed by the Ray Wallace family do not match Crew's casts. In 2000 he directed the final cleaning of the Skookum Cast, which revealed impressions of hair. He spoke of an 8 to 9 foot tall humanoid creature.
