Aimé Michel was a French writer and ufologist. His accounts shaped how several French cases came to be told. In 1958 he took up the Marignane Airport landing and added four windows on top of the craft and the sighting by the two Beloeuvre children. During the French wave of 1954 he noticed that the reports of 24 September lay on one straight line. That BAVIC line became the heart of his orthoteny theory, though critics said such alignments could arise by chance. In 1965 he went with Charles Bowen and Jacques Vallée to interview Maurice Masse at Valensole.
