Project 1947 is a research effort whose work turns up across several cases in the archive. Its NavCat catalogue includes the 1942 Tulagi formation of 150 silver objects, citing Keith Chester's Strange Company. For the 1952 Wonsan-Sunchon B-29 orange globe sightings, Jan Aldrich of Project 1947 reconstructed the paper trail behind the case decades later. In 2016, Keith Basterfield and Dean reviewed the Balwyn UFO photograph of 1966 for Project 1947. Without the original print, they could not settle it.
