Aircraft in several ARTCC areas reported something that looked like it could be a failed mission. Space OPS at ATCSCC said the mission succeeded without issue and that recovery of the rocket body was underway. Reports came in from ZHU, ZFW, ZKC, ZJX, ZSU, ZTL and ZDV. NORAD reported negative findings, and the case is marked closed.
This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report comes from Boston Center (ZBW) and is dated October 19, 2023. It covers a Learjet 45 general aviation flight, callsign N823HL, flying from PNE to ACK.
