This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report, dated December 28, 2023, records an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported by Southwest Airlines flight SWA1508, a Boeing 737 flying from Birmingham to Dallas. While westbound at FL 310 about 1 NM west of SHV, the crew reported an object orbiting at approximately FL 410 above them. Flight ENY3781 validated the report. The UAP did not appear on the ATC facility radar system, and the report is marked closed.
