This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report records an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported at 05:10 on October 28, 2023, logged by facility ZOA and now closed. Alaska Airlines flight ASA1233, a B739 flying from Los Angeles to Seattle at FL360, reported lights travelling along the coast above its altitude, 20 NM west of ENI. Southwest flight SWA3098, a B737 flying from Portland to San Jose at FL390, reported the same phenomenon.
