Tyler Rogoway was a journalist at The War Zone who kept turning up the records behind strange aviation encounters. November 16, 2017. He broke the story of the Oregon 'White Aircraft' incident. In February 2018 the FAA released the tapes to him under FOIA, with minutes of dead air he could not explain. He obtained and first published the FAA audio of the 2018 Arizona Learjet and American Airlines Flight 1095 sighting. Over the Shannon and Kerry coast, he and Joseph Trevithick pushed back against the re-entry explanation, while in the Virginia Beach cube case he found a patent for a radar reflector inside a balloon.
