The SBEDV was a Brazilian organisation that recorded and published reports on strange encounters. In the Duas Pontes case of 1962, it made a drawing based on the testimony of Raimundo after Rivalino Mafra da Silva disappeared. Later it published Prof. Húlvio Brant Aleixo's report on the Sagrada Família Cyclops encounter in Belo Horizonte. That was 1968. The group was involved again in the Mirassol abduction. August 1979. Dr Walter Karl Bühler, president of SBEDV, led the second hypnotic regression of Antônio Carlos Ferreira.
