Húlvio Brant Aleixo led CICOANI, the civilian investigation centre he founded in Belo Horizonte. He was a psychologist and a reserve Brazilian Air Force aviator-officer who had trained as a pilot. In the Sagrada Família cyclops case of 1963, he held more than 15 interviews, and the SBEDV published his report in 1968. His report on the 1962 disappearance of Rivalino Mafra da Silva at Duas Pontes made its way into the Brazilian Air Force files. Then came Bebedouro in 1969. He interviewed the soldier José Antônio da Silva on the night of 11 May and staged a reconstruction at the site. Flying Saucer Review carried his account to English readers in 1973.
