Raymond E. Fowler

A patient investigator of close encounters. Raymond E. Fowler worked for NICAP on the Exeter Incident, and his report was entered into the Congressional Record at the House Armed Services Committee hearing on UFOs on April 5, 1966. In January 1977, as MUFON's Massachusetts State Director, he led the team that opened the Betty Andreasson case. After twelve months they delivered a 528-page report and concluded she was telling the truth. He published The Andreasson Affair in 1979. In 1988 Jim Weiner told him about the lake at Allagash. Fowler arranged hypnosis sessions for the witnesses and published The Allagash Abductions in 1993.
