A researcher born in Sauchie, Malcolm Robinson founded Strange Phenomena Investigations. Two men from the A70 abduction of 1992 contacted his group, and he went on to write The A70 UFO Incident. At Bonnybridge his group says reports were coming in before November 1992, when official records began. In 2025 he and Ron Halliday published The Bonnybridge UFO Enigma. He also wrote a book on Robert Taylor's encounter in Dechmont Woods. Then, on 20 November 2021, he played the rediscovered Sauchie Poltergeist tapes at Sauchie Hall.
