La Domenica del Corriere was an Italian publication whose painted covers by Walter Molino gave UFO stories a lasting image in the public eye. 3 October 1954. It ran a cover of the half-cigar seen over Ciampino, describing a strange reddish body in the sky. Weeks later, on 14 November 1954, it painted the scene of Rosa Lotti Dainelli's encounter with two small beings at Cennina. In 1962 it gave a cover feature to Eugenio Siragusa's account of meeting Ashtar and Ithacar on Mount Etna.
