John Greenewald Jr.

John Greenewald Jr. founded The Black Vault, and his work turns up across several cases in the archive. In 2020 he recovered the missing Condon chapter, which is tied to James McDivitt's 1965 sighting aboard Gemini 4. In 2021 he republished the NASA scans of the Gemini 11 "Wingman" photographs from 1966. December 22, 2017. He was a witness himself, watching the Los Angeles "UFO" from Castaic. He filed that case as solved, a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch, and noted that rocket launches have been the culprit in many UFO cases over the years.
