The Black Vault

An online archive run by John Greenewald, The Black Vault pursues government records through Freedom of Information requests and publishes what comes back. It recovered a complete version of the Condon Committee's missing astronaut chapter in June 2020, including the Gemini 4 report. Then came American Airlines Flight 2292. The FAA first refused. In December 2024 it released the full audio, radar tracks and a radar replay video. In January 2023 the archive published the full Chilean Navy infrared case file and raw video. Greenewald himself watched the Los Angeles light of December 22, 2017 from Castaic, and filed it as solved.
