Antonio Huneeus was a UFO researcher and journalist whose write-ups appear in several of the archive's cases. In 1982 he covered the 1952 Belgian Congo uranium mine sightings for The News World. He wrote under the name "A. Hovni" and called the witness Pierre competent. His English account of the 1990 Pereslavl-Zalessky radar and fighter-jet incident is the main Western source for that case. Writing for Open Minds, he dated Musa Manarov's Mir video to 31 March 1991, a date the record does not support. He also reported the 2010 Pilots Panel on the Aeroméxico Flight 129 strike.
