Dr. Steven M. Greer, an emergency-room physician, founded the Disclosure Project in 1993. By 2001 it had videotaped more than 100 interviews with people who said they had seen UFO events, or their cover-up, from the inside. Wednesday, 9 May 2001. Greer brought them to the National Press Club in Washington. Retired Navy Commander Bethune spoke there about Flight 125, and Kolbeck testified about Aeroméxico Flight 129. Retired USAF Lt. Col. Dwynne Arneson also told the project about a crash message from Spitzbergen. In 2005 the project helped ask Senator Colin Kenny for Senate hearings in Canada, with Paul Hellyer as a witness.
