A Mexican television network, Televisa turns up again and again in the capital's sightings. In 1991 one of its employees, Guillermo Arreguín González, filmed a bright object from his rooftop during the eclipse wave. September 26, 1997. A letter and a VHS cassette arrived at Televisa in San Ángel, and two days later the Las Lomas disc footage aired on Tercer Milenio. In 2012 the network's fixed camera on Popocatépetl caught a glowing object falling into the volcano. Joaquín López-Dóriga gave it almost four minutes on the evening news, and astronomer Margarita Rosado Solís of UNAM was asked for her view.
