A television series, and a place where old cases found new audiences. Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious World took up stories from very different corners of the archive. Jessie Roestenburg's 1954 saucer encounter at Vicarage Farm in Ranton was featured on it. So was Art Folden's 1968 film of Ogopogo on Okanagan Lake, footage that a computer analysis concluded showed a solid, three-dimensional object. Then came 1980. Mountaineer Don Whillans, who reported a Yeti sighting on Annapurna in 1970, appeared in the episode "The Missing Apeman".
