Jean-Luc Vertongen and Yves Vézant led the inquiry, and Professor Auguste Meessen later joined a visit to the house. The group rated it 3 for credibility and 5 for strangeness on the Poher scale. Vertongen's report ran in Inforespace in 1974. August 1990. Investigators Patrick Ferryn and Guy Bleser visited the house behind the Petit-Rechain triangle photograph.
