Sheffield sits near the South Yorkshire saucer photographs. March 1962. Three boys stood in a field at Mosborough, five miles from Sheffield City Centre, and Alex Birch took one picture before the objects vanished at terrific speed towards Sheffield. The Sheffield Telegraph carried an article on the case by Waveney Girvan. In 1966, at Conisbrough, Stephen Pratt watched lights for about 40 minutes until they disappeared towards Rotherham and Sheffield. The same name belongs to a Berkshires town, home of Thom Reed. In 2019, Sheffield town crews hauled away the granite monument to the 1969 Berkshire UFO Incident.
