Two different men named Moore appear in these cases. Patrick Moore, the astronomer of East Grinstead, sat in the audience at Cedric Allingham's only public talk in 1955. Decades later, researchers matched the telescope in Allingham's frontispiece to Moore's own reflector, in his own garden. In 1963 he argued on the BBC that the Charlton Crater was made by a meteorite. William L. Moore was a ufologist and co-author of The Roswell Incident. December 1984. He developed in his kitchen the film that held the Majestic 12 documents.
