Cynthia Hind was a researcher based in Zimbabwe who later became MUFON's coordinator for Africa. Her 1982 book *UFOs: African Encounters* opens with the chapter "Landing at Loxton". She investigated that 1975 case in person, interviewed the witnesses and tracked down more of them. Almost everything known about the Mindalore landing of 1979 comes from her write-up for the MUFON UFO Journal. Then came Ruwa, 1994. She started her inquiry at Ariel School on the 20th and wrote that she had no doubt the children described what they saw.
