A leader of the Kosmopoisk group, Vadim Chernobrov appears in the archive as a field investigator who followed old Russian mysteries to their source. March 2004. He led a Kosmopoisk expedition to Height 611 at Dalnegorsk, the 1986 crash site later nicknamed the Soviet Roswell. His visit came after earlier expeditions there, and no government or military conclusion has been found. In 2002 he took up the case of the Kyshtym dwarf, Alyoshenka. He obtained the cloth that had wrapped the body. Geneticists of the Russian Academy of Sciences found in it the DNA of an ordinary person with many developmental pathologies.
