This Ministry of Defence document is a table of UFO sighting reports it received during 2008. Each entry gives the date, time, town or village and area, with a short description of what was seen. Most describe orange or bright lights, orbs, triangles, discs and formations of lights across England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. A later section lists reports that have no firm date, noting when each message was taken. The document gives no analysis or conclusions.

It was very vivid. It moved along at five hundred to a thousand ft in height. (Message taken 5 January 2009). Witness said the object was seen over Christmas time. No Firm Date Not stated Newtownhamilton County Down One circle of bright light. It was as high up as a telegraph pole. It was seen for thirty minutes. The object was moving towards and away from the vehicle. No Firm Date 18:20 Redruth Cornwall An object was seen. (Message taken 5 January 2009).
