This Federal Bureau of Investigation FD-302 interview record, dated February 2026, documents a videoconference interview with a witness whose name is redacted. The witness described coming home at about 9:15 PM and seeing a brilliant red sphere about one meter wide hovering below the tree line in their backyard, with a white plasma-like center. A second, identical orb appeared, and the pair moved silently west in tandem before seeming to merge into one. A video of the orbs was attached, and weeks later the witness saw several white orbs pass overhead.

This document is an FBI FD-302, a form the Federal Bureau of Investigation uses to record interviews. This FD-302 records a February 2026 interview with a U.S. person, in which they described incidents potentially involving unidentified anomalous phenomena. The subject matter described in files FBI-UAP-D009 and FBI-UAP-D010 and depicted in the video footage FBI-UAP-PR004 corresponds to reports originating from the same general area in the northeastern United States.

The orbs then moved together towards the west above the tree line, ■•• stated that from the start of the observation to when the orbs traveled out of sight, they exhibited both a change in altitude and a change in direction. The orbs were silent and moved in a smooth motion. They moved in tandem as if they were flying in formation or were tethered together. As they moved out of sight, ■•• saw the orbs merge together into one orb, or were so close together that a could only see one orb. and - captured a video of the orbs beginning at the point when they were above the t rees and moving away from their backyard. The video is contained as an attachment to this interview document. A few weeks later, stated that • saw several white orbs travel over - house from the west to the east. These white orbs were traveling much higher in altitude than the prior red orbs. ■•• described them as appearing the size of a dime held at arm's length.
