This Department of the Navy FOIA release, dated January 2023, collects heavily redacted Range Fouler Reporting Forms marked SECRET//REL TO USA, FVEY. The first form covers 14 November 2004. It lists the Nimitz strike group and describes a solid white, smooth object about 46 feet long seen off Mexico, southwest of San Diego. It also says reporting stopped at 3rd Fleet. The later forms, numbered 2014 through 2021, describe unidentified aircraft, suspected small drones and a near mid-air collision. Most details are redacted.

Post flight, the controlling agency contacted numerous local UAS operators, but none claimed knowledge of the HUAS. Additionally, the identity of the (b) (1) in the vicinity was undetermined.
