This is an FBI Freedom of Information/Privacy Acts release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault, dated March 29, 2023, covering United Nuclear Scientific Supplies. It was the first interim release: of 517 pages reviewed, 119 were released. The records come from the FBI Albuquerque JTTF and describe a 2006 case. An unidentified caller asked the company for chemicals that could serve as Sarin precursors, then turned up in person at the business. The file also contains grand jury subpoenas and interview notes.

Businesses specifically mentioned in this EC are highlighted in red. With the obvious exception of United Nuclear, which was not placed on the spreadsheet, only isopropyl alcohol was specifically advertised as being available in New Mexico - Three companies were found that publicly claim a saleable inventory. Seventy-one New Mexico companies, some with multiple locations, make up the "unknown inventory" category. Of the businesses that were included in the unknown inventory section of the spreadsheet, eight stand out as possibly being a business type similar to United Nuclear Scientific Supplies. The following companies were chosen as the most likely targets for contact by the UNSUB for two reasons: They appear to be single proprietorships or very small operations, and a potential buyer could believe the business has access to a wide variety of chemicals judging from the given business descriptions. The following businesses have contact information listed in the attached spreadsheet: • Albuchemist Inc. has a storefront in Albuquerque, but their website states that anything in stock can also be ordered online. The "chemical" link on their site was broken, so an exact analysis of their inventory could not be done. • Dynachem. Inc. is shown on as a singlemanta.com location with about three employees, and a business description of wholesale chemicals and products. It is located behind the Lovelace Women's Hospital in Albuquerque. • Faunus Tek Inc. is described online as being in the business of wholesale chemical products, and the address appears to be in a residential part of Albuquerque. Neely Enterprises Lie. is owned by a|____________ in Farmington. Although no information about the exact type of business was found, it is briefly described on manta.com as being in the line of business of "...mfg chemical preparations", and reportedly has five employees. ■ Neuchem Inc. has a website that shows a business address in a somewhat rural area north of Santa Fe. b6 b7C 3
