This is an FBI Freedom of Information/Privacy Acts release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault, dated March 29, 2023, covering United Nuclear Scientific Supplies. It was the first interim release: of 517 pages reviewed, 119 were released. The records come from the FBI Albuquerque JTTF and describe a 2006 case. An unidentified caller asked the company for chemicals that could serve as Sarin precursors, then turned up in person at the business. The file also contains grand jury subpoenas and interview notes.
Albuquerque From: Albuquerque 279B-AQ-60281, 06/04/2007 To: Re: Although the website did not have any of the six chemicals in question on the products page, the site did encourage customers to contact them about the possible availability of chemicals not listed. • Sandia Chemical is listed online, but the address resolves to what appears to be a residential neighborhood in Albuquerque's Northeast Heights. • Tom Swager Sales Inc. is listed on asmanta.com being "Whol Industrial Chemicals and Supplies". The business location is south of the main city of Santa Fe, and reports two employees. • William Woodruff is listed on as being inmanta.com the business of "..mfg chemical preparations". The phone number given for the business, however, resolves to Los Alamos National Laboratories. No further steps were taken to attempt to determine the nature of or inventory associated with the businesses on the spreadsheet. IA considers this lead complete. ♦♦ 4
