This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum, dated 21 February 1967, answers a speed letter of 30 January 1967 asking for analysis of UFO images on furnished photographic prints. The analysts note that copies, not originals, were examined, compare image sharpness and size between prints, and weigh a distant large object against a small nearby model. They conclude that authenticity cannot be decided from the prints, that an analysis of the original photograph would provide more information, and that several facts fit the model theory.

# SUBJECT: Answer to Request of Seed Letter dated 30 January 1867 (2) Starconoplex analysis of the UPO and its relationship with the surrounding branches, yle, end core station. (3) Dynamic analysis of the relative movement of the system including camera station and UFO. ## b. Conclusion: No definite. To decide the authenticity of the image as being a UFO is not possible from the furnished prints. It is reasonable that an analysis of the original photograph would provide called information which would enable a definite conclusion. Associated facts such as the familiar reluctance to discuss or show the original photographs, the convenient location of the nine frames through which the photographs were taken and the different cases in scale of the UFO images between printte ten and five which is most easily explained with a model tent to demonstrate to the model theory. We conclude no to whether the object is either a model or a genuine UFO can be offered at this time.
