This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum, dated 26 July 1957 and addressed to the Deputy Assistant Director for Collection, records an interview with a person whose name is deleted. The man worked in the lumber business in Oakland, California. He said he had extra sensory perception and could travel in the fourth dimension. He described saucer encounters, including a desert light seen during a May 1957 flight to attend a spacecraft convention. The memo notes that no classified information was given.

# O Corputy Assistant Director, Collection/ I Interview with on the subject of Jalcanlifed Flying Objects 1. In appearance and actress, in a very average sort of person. He has no prominent stature. His height is about 5'9" tall about 150 - 160 pounds. His explanation is slightly callous. He was born and raised in the Pacific northwest and spent most of his adult life in the lumber business at Oakland, California. He served in 1911 as an intelligence officer for the 197 A. A. Intallion, advancing from private to major. During the interview he was very calm and relaxed at all times and talked with an earnest belief in what he had to say. 2. explained that he has powers of extra sensory perception, brought about by a conditioning of the mind, which permit him to see and sense things about him of which others without this power are unaware. He explained that space ships are all about but they travel in a four direction and are invisible unless they so will. People with highly developed senses are permitted to know or to share of these space ships. The ships are free outer space and are here only for good. He has no fact of their presence at any time. 3. explained that he has the ability to travel in the fourth discussion. This happens when he is asleep. He explained that this is not a crash but that his tain body or other body travels. 4. About two years ago he had his first encounter with an unidentified flying object. This encounter occurred, as he stated, in the fourth dimension. He found himself in a strange place when he thought to the miles of the Pacific northeast when the scarer appeared. The scarer stopped near distance and a screen, similar to a 27 screen, appeared. A total of eleven appeared on the screen, too at a time, opening in a friendly manner. 5. On May 11 and 12, 1957,飞机 his own airland, flow from Oakland, California, to Tuccia Valley to attend the Space Grant Conferences. On this flight, he reported, they were assigned on the a different occasion by flying saucers. Fractions of the saucers was determined by one of the airlands two campuses when always acted strangely when saucers were near.
