This is a meeting notice dated May 20, 1986 from the Pajarito Astronomers, a club based in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and it was released through the U.S. Department of Energy. It tells members that the next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 29, 1986, at 7:30 p.m. in the Ranch Room at Fuller Lodge. The guest speaker will be Dr. John Warren of AT-6, and his talk is titled "Why Should a Scientist be Concerned about UFO's?"
This Consolidated Nuclear Security incident report, sent to the NNSA Production Office with a cover letter dated September 2015, covers an unidentified object at the Pantex Plant near Amarillo, Texas, on September 1, 2015. Ground Surveillance Radar tracked the object moving north at 10 to 15 mph. Protective Force officers followed it off site and described a silent, diamond-shaped object about 4 feet tall with no visible propulsion. The report says the object never appeared threatening, and its video went to Sandia National Labs and the evidence to the FBI.
This U.S. Department of Energy release collects 1970s correspondence connected to Los Alamos physicist James L. Tuck. One letter recalls several green light sightings at Los Alamos between 1948 and 1951, plus five objects flying in formation, all reported to the Protective Force. In another letter, Tuck asks the U.S. Army Engineering School for the recipe used in simulated atomic bomb demonstrations, citing the Condon study's account of atmospheric vortices. A third letter sends Tuck comments on ball lightning from a 1976 book by James McCampbell.
