This is a letter dated August 8, 2013 from Lisa L. Bentley, FOIA Manager for the 355th Communications Squadron at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, to John Greenewald. It answers his July 2013 request for all documents supporting the theory that A-10s dropped leftover flares, rather than a UFO being seen, on March 13, 1997. The base found no records because such operational data is kept for only six months and the documents had been destroyed. The letter explains how to appeal.
