On March 6, 2026, eight members of the U.S. House of Representatives requested access to 51 potentially UAP-related records allegedly held by the Department of War and the Intelligence Community. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) identified a collection of responsive materials held on a classified network. Many of these materials lack a substantiated chain-of-custody. AARO assesses that this video, whose uploader-defined title is, “USCG C-144 Tyndall UAP 2 TIC TAC IR hot 24 April 2024,” is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. Coast Guard platform operating in the Southeastern United States in 2024. This heavily redacted FBI electronic communication, filed under the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon (UAP) case title, records an October 2024 contact with a private individual. The person supplied several video clips of what they described as unknown UxS or UAP plasma orbs near their residence. According to the document, the individual had seen these lights repeatedly since November 2021 and set up trail cameras and sensors, which they said recorded gamma radiation spikes and effects on electronics and GPS. A neighbor reportedly saw similar lights.

Special Agents walked a trail loop around a redacted location to photograph the places where agents had seen UAP activity in November 2024. They found nothing unusual on the ground or at treetop level. The agents also judged that the moderate tree cover made it unrealistic to fly a drone there at night without crashing.

In October 2024, at approximately 1851 local time in the northeastern United States, an eyewitness observed a light source below the horizon, hovering above a pond at an estimated distance of 2,700 feet. The luminous object resembled a “plasma-like sphere” intermittently changing shape and luminosity. At times, the primary light source appeared to separate into smaller luminous points. A luminous point below the primary source hovered just above the water and did not appear consistent with a surface reflection. The object remained generally stationary for approximately 45 minutes before disappearing. The eyewitness did not hear any sound from the objects. This video was captured by a private citizen on an iPhone and subsequently analyzed and authenticated by the U.S. Government. To protect the individual’s privacy, the footage has been cropped. Apart from this privacy-protective measure, no edits, enhancements, or alterations have been made to the visual content. Most of the flight was intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance work in support of NAVCENT and AFCENT. At 0517Z the crew saw one UAP flying a straight path at low altitude, heading northwest faster than the aircraft. They followed it until it was too far away to track. This declassified U.S. Central Command mission report (MISREP) describes an AC-130 type armed overwatch sortie flown from OKAS on 20 September 2024 under Operation Inherent Resolve. While the crew was doing a weapons calibration in Ayn al Asad Airbase's restricted operating zone, the weapons systems officer and combat systems officer saw an unidentified object fly through the aircraft's sensors at high speed after an AGM-176 was released. The object caused an infrared lens flare that pointed to a significant heat source. The crew assessed it as benign, and it was not seen again.
