Clas Svahn

A Swedish investigator who spent years testing the country's most famous cases. Clas Svahn worked with UFO-Sverige and AFU. In 1989 he and Anders Liljegren published Domstensfallet, a study of the Domsten encounter that turned up witnesses who said the men had admitted it was a bluff. 6 August 1987. Svahn first contacted Gösta Carlsson about the Ängelholm landing. More than 100 hours of interviews followed, and in 1995 the two men published Mötet i gläntan. Svahn concluded the encounter was not factual, but that Carlsson sincerely believed it. He also interviewed Eric Thomason about the Maslin Beach photographs.
