This is a confidential occurrence report dated 2 June 1986, sent by Brigadier José Pessoa Cavalcanti de Albuquerque, acting commander of COMDA, to the Air General Command. It records radar detections, light sightings and fighter interceptions from Santa Cruz and Anápolis air bases on the night of 19 to 20 May 1986, centred on São José dos Campos and Anápolis. The report concludes that the phenomena were solid and showed some intelligence, since they could follow observers, keep their distance and fly in formation, though not necessarily crewed.
