This Federal Bureau of Investigation electronic communication on form FD-1057, dated July 2024, records a forensic sketch interview held at 26 Federal Plaza, New York, with a Special Agent and a forensic artist from the Operational Projects Unit. The witness, a former U.S. Army intelligence officer, says that four other members of their unit also saw a UAP over the Cheyenne Mountains. They describe a still, potato-shaped, creamy opalescent object with shifting scale-like panels that vanished after about two minutes. An initial sketch draft is enclosed.

This document is an FBI FD-1057, a form the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) uses to record investigative activity. This FD-1057 contains a first-hand narrative description of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) reported near Colorado Springs, Colorado. The interviewee provided this statement to FBI special agents to aid in producing a digital artistic interpretation of the incident.

The object was •potato" shaped wi th di stinct edges and appeared to l ook painted in a creamy/whitish opa l escent col or. It was somewhat translucent with a slight shimmer . The object was made up of what can best be described as articulating fish scales or panel s that were non syrnrnetri cal , non-overlappi ng , and irregu l ar shaped. The object itself was perfectl y stil l but each panel on the object shifted i n s l ow waves starting at different points of origin but at the same time . After approximately two minutes , the object vanished . 11111 specificall y stated that the object "cl oaked" in the space of time it took to turn a head and there was no shadow. and initial sketch draft are attached. Forensic artist will re l ay additional sketch drafts through SA - to 11111 in order to complete the final sketch product . 2
