This Black Vault copy reproduces an article by Captain Henry S. Shields of HQ USAFE/INOMP titled "Now You See It, Now You Don't!" It recounts a late-1976 episode near Tehran in which two Imperial Iranian Air Force F-4 crews chased a bright object. Both jets lost instruments or communications, and one crew watched smaller objects detach, with one coming down to the ground. The article says no further explanation came, and it notes that the results of later radiation tests were never reported.
