This Federal Aviation Administration preliminary operations report, part of a 2023 Department of Transportation release, logs UFO/UAP activity near Liberal, Kansas on September 15, 2023. It says Kansas City ARTCC relayed a report from American Airlines Flight 662, an A321 flying from Dallas-Fort Worth to Denver. The crew reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon about 10,000 feet below the aircraft while heading northwest at FL340. They described it as lights coming from unidentified objects, and no evasive action was taken.
