This Federal Aviation Administration preliminary operations report is dated August 27, 2023. It records UFO/UAP activity near Las Vegas, Nevada, reported by UPS flight 917, a Boeing 767 flying from Ontario to Louisville. The crew saw three white lights orbiting above FL600. According to the report, the lights moved up and down about 15,000 feet and about 100 miles horizontally from left to right near Las Vegas. The report gives no explanation for the lights.
