This Federal Aviation Administration preliminary operations report covers a UAP sighting near Birmingham, Alabama, at 1:21 a.m. CDT on May 2, 2023. Birmingham TRACON said the crew of a medevac Cessna C550 flying from Pensacola to Birmingham reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon ahead of the aircraft near BHM. They described bright lights that changed in intensity and circled counterclockwise at high altitude. Two other aircraft reported the same lights in the same location.
