This is a preliminary Federal Aviation Administration operations report of UFO/UAP activity at Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, dated March 5, 2023. The Dallas-Fort Worth tower said the crew of American Airlines Flight 1030, a Boeing 787 flying from Cancun, Mexico, reported a "jet pack man" 500 feet above the aircraft while on short final to Runway 18R. No evasive action was taken, operations were not affected, and no other sightings were reported.
