This Federal Aviation Administration preliminary operations report covers a UFO/UAP event on February 16, 2023, near Seattle, Washington. Seattle ARTCC advised that Alaska 688, a B739 flying from Seattle to Las Vegas, reported a dark object that could have been a UAS or balloon. The object was at the aircraft's altitude, in the 2 o'clock position, while the flight was southbound at 10,700 feet about 18 miles south-southeast of Seattle. No evasive action was taken, and law enforcement notification was not reported.
