This Federal Aviation Administration preliminary report covers an event on January 29, 2023, at 6:29 a.m. CST near Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. Minneapolis ARTCC said the crew of American Airlines Flight 2547, an A321 flying from Phoenix to Charlotte at FL370, reported two to three sets of unidentified aerial phenomena moving right to left and left to right. The pilot said the objects looked like a star turning on and off about every minute. Other aircraft were heard reporting the incident on other frequencies.
