This Federal Aviation Administration record, released in 2023, is a preliminary FAA operations report dated December 12, 2022. It says two airliners, UPS 2897 (a B763) and JetBlue 2924 (an A321), reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon, or UFO, at their 12 o'clock position. At the time they were eastbound 20 miles west of RWN near Winamac, Indiana, and the report puts the object between FL500 and FL600. Neither crew took evasive action, and no law enforcement notification was reported.
